That's it. I'm done. Mark down this date Lord. I'll keep coming back to it when things get rough. I want You to throw out the spirit that has held me captive for too long. Today, I'm turning a new leaf, starting with acknowledgment that I can't do it myself and choosing to not do it by myself anymore. Be real, be present,
and let it start today.

- light and darkness, is darkness simply the absence of light, and therefore it is our job as disciples to shine light on each situation in order to dispel darkness?
- three questions: 1. why did Jesus come to earth? 2. what would He be doing in our neighborhood? 3. what can we be doing to make that happen?
- the Word is Jesus and Jesus is the Word (Jesus as the bread of life, the water of eternal life, the Word being a thing of sustance and food supply for Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and John)
- the myriad of paradoxes that make up God (mercy and justice, God and man, omnipresent but sometimes absent)
- God's family-like feelings for us (He calls us bride, wife, son, child, and daughter in Scripture)
